Data is protected at all stages from your site to Blink Logic and to the user:

Enterprise-class scalability.

Blink Logic's data transfer technology automatically transfers client data across physical infrastructures according to hardware load and performance. This precisely matches resource loads to their business requirements and the available infrastructure.

Blink Logic offers two approaches for data transfer:

  • For smaller data sets of less than 300 MB that are not updated more than once a day, customers can directly send the database extract to Blink Logic via secure FTP. This is currently a manual process.

For small datasets, data can be transferred via secure FTP

We chose to incorporate Blink Logic into our solution because it delivers a combination of functionality, impact, and ease-of-use with an attractive value proposition that is unlike any of the other business intelligence solutions on the market.

Hawkeye

  • The second approach takes advantage of Microsoft's built-in replication and data transformation services. This moves data over a secure VPN connection from your site to the Blink Logic data center. Either Microsoft SQL Server Replication Services or the Microsoft Transport Service /DataTransformation Service can be employed as the unidirectional mechanism to move the OLAP data to our site.

A VPN connection is established between the VPN agents running on servers in the two environments and the data is transferred. Organizations can individually determine how often the data is transferred.

For larger datasets with more frequent updates, a VPN tunnel between your environment and Blink Logic's hosting center ensures secure and reliable data transfer.
